Imagine a father who is newly divorced, indigent, and working nights as a valet at the posh-yet-sleazy nightclub "Le Palms" in Miami in the 1970s, sashaying around the house and asking the kids, "Hey kids, who's got a cool $20 they want to lend Dad so we can hit the drive-in?" Imagine Pat playing the role of the cool uncle or dad for the entire weekend while donning a pink Rip Curl ski jacket from the 1980s. That ought to explain the name, but it probably doesn't do much to explain the Double NEIPA's warming-yet-smooth maltiness and lush melon and pineapple flavours. But when Pat writes the descriptions, that is what you get. Nothing to do with the beer, simply a pointless rant about his weekend indulgences.
