O'Hara's Double Barrel Aged Leann Follain Imperial Stout 375ml

Initial ageing of Leann Folláin took place in Irish Whiskey-ex-Bourbon barrels for six months. It is then completed for an additional 6 months in ex-Oloroso Sherry casks from Irish Whiskey that were formerly a part of a Solera system in Jerez, Spain. The warming stewed fruit sweetness that has been accumulating in the barrels for generations, in some cases for as long as 40 years, adds a depth of flavour that can only be obtained from the Sherry casks. The eleventh edition of this barrel-aged beer is exceptionally special and not to be missed. The beer was blended, decanted, and then bottle-conditioned for 90 days before being made available. This is a unique beer with a rich taste and depth.
