Barrel Aged Golden Sour Beer w/Spent Raspberries, Hibiscus & Shiraz Lees
After racking beer off the raspberries from our Raspberry Golden Sour, SERIES OF DREAMS, we refilled the barrel with Golden Sour base beer, keeping the spent raspberries in the barrel. We also added Shiraz lees from Noisy Ritual Urban Winery and hibiscus directly to the barrel. This then matured for a further couple of months before packaging. The result is a light Rose colour beer with a wonderful combination of subtle raspberry and Shiraz grape flavour adding depth to the sour base beer.
