The inaugural Ramjet, a beer that sought to produce an exclusively Australian spirit barrel aged imperial stout, will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2022. After spending 6 months in Starward whisky barrels that were once used to hold red wine, this year's Ramjet is a continuation of this barrel-aged excellence. Early on in the aroma, the whisky comes through with some gentle wood and earthy hops. Red wine, rich malts, and whisky are all present on the palate. The finish is deceptively smooth and does a great job of hiding the alcohol.
