On the palate, it is full-bodied and concentrated, layering caramelised fruit, dark chocolate, roasted nuts, cinnamon and polished oak, while retaining a lovely freshness beneath the richness. The cask-strength presentation adds another dimension, bringing warmth and intensity without overwhelming the spirit. A long, lingering finish leaves notes of dried fruit, spice, oak and gentle sweetness.
