Shipping & Returns
We ship with Australia Post and our rates are based on their shipping fees.
Purvis Shipping Times
All orders are shipped within 3 business days. From time to time, we will need to transfer stock between stores to complete orders, you will be contacted by SMS or EMAIL if your order is delayed beyond 3 business days. We are unable to hold orders for delivery on a specific date.
Once the parcel has been dispatched from our store, monitoring tracking is on the customer.

The average delivery times for parcels from time of dispatch (orders are dispatched within 3 business days of the order being placed) are below:
- Sydney / ACT : 2 - 3 days
- NSW other than Sydney: 2 - 3 days
- Melbourne: 1 - 2 days
- VIC other than Melbourne: 1 - 2 days
- South East QLD: 3 - 4 days
- QLD other than South East: 3 - 5 days
- Adelaide: 2 - 3 days
- SA other than Adelaide: 3 - 4 days
- Perth: 4 - 6 days
- WA other than Perth: 5 - 7 days
- NT: 5 - 7 days
- Tasmania: 5 - 7 days

Capital City and Metro Rates.
$10 per case for VIC
$15 per case SA/NSW/ACT/QLD
$25 per case for WA
Northern Territory and Tasmania
$30 base rate up to 5kg, then an additional charge of $10 will apply to every increment of 5kg.

A case is predominantly determined by the weight of goods ordered, (up to 14.5kg) but can also be determined by the size of the goods regardless of weight (e.g. glassware).
You will, most likely, be purchasing fragile glass and beer. Quality couriers are of utmost importance to us for customer service.
At Check Out, Purvis Beer selects best shipping method to get your parcel to its destination quickly and safely, every time for every order using a game-changing algorithm. Simply tell Purvis Beer, at Check Out, what you're sending, how far it's going and we'll choose the best courier every single time.
As a guideline, a case could be made up of the following types of goods:
- 24 x 330ml bottles; or
- 12 x 500ml bottles; or
- 10 x 750ml bottles; or
- 2 x 6 pack of beer glasses; or
- mix of 330ml, 500ml and 750ml bottles of beer up to 14.5kg
The above are examples only.
Final freight costs are automatic during the online checkout process.
Shipping Information
Please note, we only ship to Tasmania and Mainland Australia. We do not currently ship outside of Australia. International purchasers must list a valid Australian address.
If the order is being sent to a non-residential address, please ensure the business/company name is included in the address details under the text field "company".
All parcels can be tracked and by default have "Authority To Leave". We do offer customers the option to state specific delivery instructions, e.g. leave behind side gate etc. You may opt for the parcel to require a signature on delivery, please state this in the delivery instructions.
If the premises is unattended during a delivery which requires a signature a notice will be placed in your post box and the parcel will be available for pick up at the nearest courier outlet.
Deliveries are made during business hours Monday to Friday, however we are unable to give a guaranteed time of delivery. No deliveries are made on public holidays or weekends.
Orders are dispatched once processed. We are unable to hold orders for delivery on a specific day.
Refund and Returns
We are so sure that any product sold by Purvis Beer will meet or exceed your expectations that we guarantee the products we sell. Should you for any reason be dissatisfied with your purchase, simply return the items for a full refund. The cost of return postage, if applicable, is to be paid by the sender. If the items you are returning are beers please return all bottles, including empties. All returns must be made within 7 days of receipt and if the items are not beers they must be in an unused and saleable condition. In the unlikely event that your goods are damaged in transit please contact us immediately. Depending on the order and extent of damage to the goods we will be able to provide you with a credit or replacement, this is at the sole discretion of Purvis Beer.

- Your Order number if known (appears on the top of the confirmation email)
- Your name and address
- A description of the item you are returning and a reason for the return
Please note: Alcohol deliveries cannot be accepted by persons under the age of 18 years
