Dos Maderas PX 5+5 Rum 700ml

A beautifully rich and indulgent Spanish-style rum that combines Caribbean character with sophisticated cask ageing. Dos Maderas 5+5 spends five years ageing in the Caribbean before being shipped to Spain, where it receives a further five years in Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks. The result is a wonderfully smooth, dessert-like rum with flavours of raisins, dates, caramel, vanilla, dark chocolate and sweet spices, balanced by subtle oak. The PX cask finish gives it an especially luscious, silky character without becoming overly heavy. A cracking after-dinner rum — rich, smooth and packed with dried-fruit sweetness.
