The Hāpi Sessions, this year a series of ‘pen pal’ collaborations with breweries at the top of their game, each beer showcasing a different hop forward style in a playful ‘freestyle’ interpretation of one of the beers that helped to make each brewery famous.
Green Cheek, a group of hipsters from Orange County, riff on the "California IPA" style, giving the dry interpretation of the West Coast classic new vitality and fresh hops. Large waves of Mosaic, Strata, and harvest-fresh Nelson Sauvin from Freestyle Farms are supported by a clean, strong bitterness, a highly light, crisp malt foundation, and these flavours.
