Since 1843, Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskies have been created. This Glenmorangie Lasanta is a rich and elegant Highland single malt Scotch whisky, aged for 12 years in bourbon and sherry casks. The name Lasanta means "warmth and passion" in Gaelic, reflecting its deep, enticing sweetness and soft texture. Aromas are rich and aromatic, with notes of raisins, honeycomb, and chocolate-covered hazelnuts, complemented by cinnamon breezes. A lusciously soft texture with flavours of toffee, clove, and cinnamon, balanced by the influence of Oloroso and PX Sherry casks. The finish is long and lingering, with hints of Seville orange marmalade, dates, and treacle. This whisky is often described as capturing the magic of a sunset, with its warm, deep hues and complex layers of flavour.
