Hoegaarden Grand Cru Tripel 330ml

I have been curiously and widely sampling exotic beers for 30 years. Horgaarden Grand Cru is, in my humble opinion, one of the best beers in the whole world. Very strong in flavour and aroma, so don't buy it if "crisp and refreshing" is what you are looking for. But if you enjoy richness and complexity you will be well rewarded.

This is so European it has no English on the label. Where do I start? Has to be the best or at least in my top 5 of all time.The individual flavours present differently with each sip. This roll-a coster has fruit , herbs substantial depth , yeast ,smoothness and a nice hoppy on the back-burner.Makes me want to pack my bags and head for Brussels to try it on tap.

I would like to comment on my first review. I tasted the other Hoegaarden Grand Cru beers I ordered and they were all top notch, so the first one I drank, must have had something wrong with it.
Hoegaarden Grand Crus is still one of my most favourite beers in the world. A taste that has no match in any other beers.

I am Belgian, I have been drinking Hoegaarden Grand Cru since my student days (20 years ago). I know what it should taste like, this is not it. Something must have gone wrong during transport, because this is very bad...
