La Sirene Chriso Lemon 375ml

Chriso translates to "gold" in Greek - a word that sits front of mind when laying eyes on this golden ale. Lemon has long been one of our favourite fruits and this kind of ale is something always wanted to create here at HQ. The serendipitous arrival of fresh lemons in Reservoir locale compelled us to create this highly vibrant golden ale.

Fermented in stainless initially to deliver a clean ferment base, this golden ale was housed in barrel for only a few weeks to infuse a touch of funk. It was then co-fermented again on freshly-zested lemon peel, courtesy of our man Jonah in the kitchen.

Pouring with a nice dense head, this luscious golden ale drinks smooth with a round and rich mouthfeel and unmistakable aroma of tangy lemon. Reminiscent of Mediterranean lemon fields - this is refreshment on overdrive.

Pair with white anchovies, saganaki, grilled prawns, fish tacos, roast chicken, hummus with olive oil.
