Laizhou Distillery, situated in Qionglai, Chengdu, Sichuan—China’s famed “Millennia-old Liquor Town”—spans 146,000 square meters and has an annual production capacity of 36,000 tons of spirits, accounting for over 80% of the country’s whisky output. Made from 100% medium-peated malted barley and fully matured in first-fill American bourbon casks, this whisky is non-chill filtered to retain the full depth of its peated character. Rounded smoky aroma reminiscent of cured meats, derived from the peated malt. The result is a seamless balance of savory peat smoke and gentle sweetness — bold, yet elegantly structured.
