Collaboration with Little Thistle Brewing Company in Rochester, Minnesota.
This dark and delicious 11% ABV Scotch Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout was aged in non-peated Scotch Barrels for a year, creating a rich and full bodied stout. The name "Unicorn's Share" is a riff on "Angel's Share", which is the amount of distilled spirits lost to evaporation from a barrel or cask as it ages. We thought we'd do a fun take on the name as an ode to our Scottish friends at Little Thistle, as the Unicorn is Scotland's national animal! Fun fact: the plaid on the label is "Campbell of Cawdor", which is the personal kilt plaid of the Finnie Family, owners of Little Thistle.
