Bock is the brew for spring. This is a Weizen Doppelbock picturing a bearded man with a full stein so, although not a true-brew stand-alone Bock, the label could have shown a goat behind or beside the noble man, a symbol of a Bock. Well, a goat has a beard too! It's a sipping pleasure at 8.5%, so no stop watch for drinking allowed. It was a deserving Gold Medal winner in 2023. The beer is a treat, not for chugging at a mate's barbecue. There is a complex of identifiable flavours.

This wheat beer must be sampled as number 1 on your bucket list. A history beer from 1907 with amazing flavors and presentation wrapped into 8.2% abv. Don't put wheat beer into your freezer, accept fridge cold and rotate your pots through the freezer. Intentionally pour a 50mm head.
