Timmermans Lambicus Faro 375ml

It tastes like if beer made moscato... and for a crowd pleasing beer to share with my wife, I'm totally okay with that. It's really balanced perfectly. If I had a bar, I would definitely have it on tap.

For a style we don’t get a lot of in Australia, it’s a great dessert style beer but lightened with the sourness of the lambic. Tasting this against a Lindemans Faro, this one is more refined but similar take in the style. Less bold in both sweet and sour than the Lindermans, still has the sherberty spritz I love in this style, and again makes me wonder why this style is not more popular in Australia. Happily I have bought quite a few of these bottles now as I love have Faros on Christmas Day when you want something light and refreshing, but still has lots of character and dessert-like qualities to also feel indulgent. This particular one is also a good beginner Faro for its balance and refined aspect for those not familiar to the style.
