Spencer Brewery

The first & only certified Trappist beer made in the USA, Spencer is the only Trappist brewery found outside Europe. Hence, the history and uniqueness of St Joseph’s Abbey calling it “America’s Trappist brewery”.

The beers all brewed in Monasteries, under the management of St Joseph’s Abbey. Production processes in accordance with the business practices proper to a monastic way of life and community policies, all earnings support the non-profit monastic community & fund the monastery’s contributions to NPOs & charities.

In 2013, Spencer was certified by the ITA, today present in over 12 countries. Now, proudly in Australia
