Collaboration with Pinta Brewery.
Piwo Grodziskie is a traditional Polish beer specialty. This historic style of beer owes its name to the town of Grätz or Grodzisk Wielkopolski, located southwest of Poznan. The tasty top-fermented beer was already produced and enjoyed here in the Middle Ages. Over the course of the twentieth century, it has been increasingly forgotten, until it disappeared completely. It was only with the Polish craft beer movement that Grodziskie had a well-deserved comeback: in 2010 the Pinta brewery revived the old style of beer.
Grodziskie celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2025. To celebrate this anniversary, there is now also a Schlenkerla interpretation of this Polish beer classic: Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier in Grätzer style. We dry the smoked wheat malt in our in-house malt house over an open oak wood fire. For the fruity and aromatic flavor of the hops we use aromatic hops from Lubelski.
The result is a bottom-fermented, drinkable beer with a slight smoky aroma, fruity hop notes, fine carbonation and a very moderate alcohol content.
