Boneyard Venom - surprisingly lite bite!

I really anticipated the arrival of Boneyard Venom from Bend, only to be disappointed when tasting. Perhaps this is because I have been to Bend many times and enjoyed all the local breweries of Oregon’s central high-desert plains. While the ABV is at 9 percent, the beer is surprisingly lite in depth. I had hoped for a beer with a high hop, bitterness profile, but what you get is a run of the mill double IPA without aggression.
